Renewable Energy Technology will be the theme of North Shore Community College's (NSCC) Danvers Sustainability Fair, which will be held October 22, 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. at NSCC's Danvers Campus, 1 Ferncroft Road [map].
The fair, which is free and open to all, will feature tours of the college's new Health Professions and Student Services Building - the Commonwealth's first Zero Net Energy building - exhibits, environmentally sound vendors, face painting and free pumpkins (while they last) for the kids.
The fair will feature a wide variety of exhibitors and vendors including:
Kelly Sheridan & friend - face painting, sugar pumpkin giveaway
Wally's Vegetables - fruit, vegetables, fall decor gourds, eggs and honey
Mehaffey Farm - vegetables, eggs and honey
Alfalfa Farm Winery - exhibit on a sustainable farm winery business
Gloucester Dog Park - nonprofit to create a recreational area for dogs and their guardians
Quinn's Canine Café - natural and organic homemade dog treats
The Soup Guy - all natural, gluten-free soups and chili, all locally sourced
Annarosa's - European-style breads, cookies and pastries
Suz Bath and Body - handmade soaps, lotion bars, salves and balms, bath salts and hand-poured soy candles
Zumi's Espresso - fair trade products, coffee and chocolates
